MeasureCamp 6: Who’s going survey – the results!

Well, MeasureCamp has gone global, with events across Europe and as far away as Hong Kong – but now it’s time for MeasureCamp London!

Over 300 people signed up to attend, and we’re expecting around 250 to be there on the day!

We really want people to run at least one session and so we thought it’d be helpful to give you an idea of who’s coming – after all this is an un-conference where the content comes from YOU.

We had 49 responses to our “Who’s Going” survey – some interesting tidbits below:

Employment

Most people are employed (61%), but over a third are either contractors (23%) or business owners (14%):

We have a strong client-side showing (45%), but this is matched by those from the agency-side (45%), with only 10% from Vendors – so you’ll be pleased to know that no strong selling will be going on!

There’s likely to be a very strong eCommerce / Retail focus as 71% of people stated that they’re working on projects in this area. Don’t worry if that’s not your thing though as most people are working in multiple areas, including charity/public sector (37%):

Still lots of variety in job titles, with 38 different job titles listed – although most still included ‘analyst’.

Demographics

This is an international conference, and whilst most attendees are from the UK (61%), there are people traveling from 9 other countries:

Thank you for all your comments too – great to see lots of people hoping to share their knowledge and approaching MeasureCamp with an open mind.
